Access: These tours are not wheelchair accessible and people with other accessibility requirements may have difficulty entering the chamber as it is underground and accessed by stairs only.

Gloucester City Council, working in partnership with the King's Walk Shopping Centre and the Civic Trust, is re-opening the King's Walk Bastion for public tours again this summer. The chamber contains the remains of part of the Roman city wall and a medieval defensive tower, probably constructed during the reign of Henry III.
Venue: The King’s Bastion, King’s Walk (outside Primark)

Accessibility: The Bastion Chamber is only accessible via a staircase leading underground and it’s subterranean location makes it very humid.
